Questions on Lord of the flies w.14 p.1-40

Now you have all started reading the book and I hope you enjoy it so far. Here comes a couple of things I want you to think about:

1) Make a short description of Piggy. What does he look like? What kind of person is he?

2) How is Piggy treated by the others and why is it so? Do you think that Ralph is a good friend? Does he have a responsibility against Piggy since they were friends first?

3) What rules do they develop and what are the rules good for? And by the way, who actually decides the rules?
